描述
The BRICS International Alliance Strategic Project (BRICS IA SP) was established on February 29, 2016. Headquartered and registered in Russia, it is administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The Alliance was founded in the spirit of the 7th BRICS Summit and the Ufa Declaration adopted in Ufa in 2015. Initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, it was jointly promoted and established by multiple government agencies. As an autonomous, non-governmental, and non-profit international organization, the Alliance functions independently according to its Charter. It focuses on supporting strategic cooperation and facilitating project implementation among BRICS countries, emerging markets, and developing countries around the world. Currently, the Alliance has set up representative offices in more than 60 countries globally. These offices form an efficient international cooperation network across Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
